On Wednesday, past meets present, as Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus will play together in the Memorial Skins Game. This will mark only the second time the two legends have competed against one another in the same group. Granted, a Skins game isn't quite the same thing as a tournament, but it's still going to be great to watch.
The match will also include Stewart Cink and Kenny Perry in the Woods/Nicklaus group. In the other group -- the one nobody's going to watch -- Vijay Singh, Padraig Harrington, Jim Furyk and Camilo Villegas will square off in blissful silence.
The only other time Nicklaus and Woods played in the same group was the 2000 PGA Championship. Woods won that tournament for what was, at the time, his third straight major. So this time, I'm betting that Tiger does the ol' point-at-his-eyes-then-point-at-Nicklaus routine, mouthing "I'm coming for you." I gotta see that.
