Emails, Cell Phones, Text Messages.....Privacy-How Should We handle it in a Marriage?

Generally speaking, with all the cell phones, text messages, emails, myspace, facebook, etc, how much should one's mate have access too? and what defines violating one's privacy? If you read your husband's or wife's myspace messages is that violating the privacy in the marriage? Does it mean that you don't trust your mate?

This is going to be good. I think that if you trust your mate you don't have to sneak around in his personal business. When you are married, personally I don't think you should have total access of knowledge of everything your mate does. You should create a life of your own within the marriage that way you won't be sneak and peepin in each others life. As adults we know when we have gone to far with a situation. Being friends, learning how to respect each other, trust each other is all apart of the married life. You do want to keep up with what each other is doing and be involved to a point. Me, I only want to be included in whatever my mate involve me in, I have to much going for myself to be trying to keep up with everything move my mate is making. Now if you bring them home and have them in my bed that is totally another issue. Humans should have space, friends and associates in life. Marriage does not mean you are on lock down.
