DALLAS GENERALS Final Basketball Tryout & Combine : August 22, 2009/Saturday : Mountain View College

DALLAS, TEXAS - The Dallas Generals (ABA professional basketball team) has announced that it will hold its final tryout & combine for the 2009 - 2010 season. The final tryout & combine will be held on August 22, 2009 [Saturday] at Mountain View College, located at 4849 West Illinois Avenue in Dallas.

Registration will begin at 9am. Evaluations will begin promptly at 10am. All players will be evaluated by a series of pre-determined skill & agility drills, designed to exploit each individual player's identifiable skills. The afternoon of the tryout & combine, players will participate in video-taped games for evaluation and observation. The games are designed for players to demonstrate a wide variety of skills to demonstrate their versatility.

Please bring appropriate gear. All players will receive (1) official Dallas Generals t-shirt.

All players must be 18 years of age or older, with proper ID.

All players will undergo height, weight, and wingspan measurements during the tryout & combine.

The registration fee is $100 [early registration], $120 [on-site registration]. Early registration ends on August 20, 2009.

Interested players are encouraged to register immediately. There is a limit to the number of players that will be evaluated.

The tryout & combine will be open to all press/media; a limited number of spectators will be allowed.
